Wow! What an eventful weekend!

it was really a roller coaster ride of emotions for me though, feeling happiness and sadness alternatively.

forgot to hand in the consent form for the meet the parents thingy and was forced to go hand in it on friday, kinda annoying, given the fact that i wouldn't even have to go to school otherwise.

so met tandy there and went to bedok reservoir for training. we reached way too early though, so we went for a run around the reservoir before the others came.

the training though was -_-''... it's been so long since we had training because of the block test, not to mention having the type of hiong training that we haven't had for ages after mr hee took over that most of us were shacked out by the end of the two hours so we all nearly died when mr hee said we were going to continue after the two hours ended. however, 20 minutes after we continued, mr hee could see that all of us were nearly dead and he let up since there wasn't anymore point to training further.

the training itself was horrible. it was like we have forgotten how to row after not training for two weeks and we were rowing like crap so everyone was like demoralized. not a good thing seeing that our race was in two days time so we decided to edit the plans we had for the next day a little for the team to get together again.

met vic on sat! it was cancelled initially so was quite shocking to see that it was on again when i woke up on sat. went down to meet her and seeing that it was rather late, we decided to cancel our plans for watching a movie to just having lunch and then walking around after that.

haha... no idea why but i just enjoy listening to her talk so it was a pretty good lunch.

oh yeah, we had kenny rogers! i think it's the first time i had it in singapore cos i only remember having it once in malaysia.

the food was pretty good, though the taste of the ribs was a little too strong such that it made the side dishes seem pretty tasteless and most of it went to waste.

Food! Mine is the one opposite with the ribs and half a chicken.

accompanied her to walk around and shop for a while after that. realized a little why girls like to shop so much cos there's like so much more variety for girls then guys? guys are like limited to mainly shirts and t-shirts with jeans and pants of either the long or the short variety while girls have like so much more?

shopping isn't bad, actually i think i enjoy shopping quite alot for a guy. though it would be alot more fun if i actually had the spare cash to spare to buy the stuff that i like, like the shopping spree i had last year after i got my pay and the other money from i forgotten from where.

haha... still felt a little uneasy in those shops where there are zero guys around though. but i am like getting used to it i guess. wouldn't even step into those shops in the past lol...

had gelare after that before sending her to her tution. ice-cream is nice!

went home to get my stuff before going to school to meet the guys after that.

was kinda late so they had already finished their soccer match and arrived upon the scene of them doing... *ahem to yihe cos of his birthday. lol... i think we are a bunch of sick ppl.

oh man... i have no idea what they are gonna do to me on my birthday -_-''... maybe i should just get sick leave for a week or something...

went for dinner before going to yiyang house after that. was actually planning to watch an inspirational sports movie but due to time constraints and other complications, we had to cancel our plans and didn't achieve much in the end... stayed over a yiyang's house before going for the competition today.

to cut things short, we did ok in our heats, much better then in the stupid training and managed to skip the lepacharge to go straight to the semi-finals, did good in the semis and got into the minor finals but did horribly at the finals to end up 4th, just 1 sec behind the first -_-''...

what's with the 4th man... had enough of it to last my whole life.

i guess it was kinda an unfair situation though, seeing that we were racing with people like nus and ntu while everyone had boats full of guys and we had 4 girls on our boat due to a lack of people.

but like mr lee said, that's not an excuse so we are gonna be put through intensive training for these 2-3 months.

prepare to like see me sleep in every lessons from now on.

though i guess it's also happening now so not much changes there lol...

still, it was a great time out!

and i want that freaking gold for the nationals!!!!
