25 February

oh man.. dragonboat training is getting earlier and earlier sia...to get to the training on time i have to wake up eariler then when i go to sch sia...

training was quite ok today. started with a run then rowed the boat for two hours. not that tiring anymore but i think my shoulders are gonna ache tmr though.

went to yuxi house after training. was supposed to watch a dvd there de but then after a while, me, chelsea, yuxi and shun gui decided to go out to watch final destination 3 at lido instead.

the movie was grusome but quite nice la. all final destination shows are the same so the main point of the show is just to see how they die nia. and they die in gross ways sia... shalln't spoil it for you all here...at least i felt it was money more well spent then the dick and jane thingy...

first nc16 movie i watched i think. and if this is nc16 i wonder what's m18 and r21 lol...

23 February

hmm... something that happened today and the johari thingy set me thinking. what am i like as a person and what do you all think of me?

let me list what i think of myself first, both the good and the bad then you all tell me if what i think of myself is correct and if there is anything that you think i am, please tell me ok? numbered them to make it easier to say

trying to improve myself here so dun gimme crappy stuff like changing my hairstyle ok?

good points first.

1. i am good natured? it takes alot to get me angry and i am not someone who will ji chou de. mainly cos i dun remember them la.

2. i am a nice guy? well that's what i hope you all think also la.

3. i am frank? as in if i dun like someone i will show it and wont be a hypocrite la. though sometimes it can be a bad point and piss off ppl.

emm... shldn't say too many or become bhb liao

bad points.

4. i tend to exagerate sometimes. mainly with numbers la. like if i lost 80+ will become lost 100 that kind la. something like convinent rounding off.

5. i repeat myself. alot. it's mainly cos of my short term memory la. can't remember what i tell to who so i tend to like say the same things over and over again. maybe it's also because i speak so fast that i have to repeat myself alot then developed the habit.

6. i am negative? not too sure about this one.... someone told me it but i not too sure exactly where i am negative. can someone comfirm with me about this?

shalln't put too many bad points as well.

so can you all do me a favour and help me to improve myself?

ARGH!!!! SUPER SUPER SUAY!!!

got caught while playing cards in ispace! by the vp somemore!!!

kns lor! the whole ispace were playing cards and our table happens to be nearest the door and while the rest managed to sneak away or keep their cards in time, my ct got caught -_-''...

we were forced to hand over our easylink card and then had to stay back in school till 4.45 when we were dismissed at 2.15... thankfully it seems like our ct teacher spoke to the vp about it and we didn't get into too much trouble.

well, at least the vp was reasonable and and spoke to us about why we shouldn't do it and stuff like that... got our names taken down and she said she will give us a second chance. if we don't get into any trouble for the next 6 months, our names will be removed.

still. SUAY!!! SUAY TILL GOT NOTHING TO SAY!!!

20 February

wohoo!!! finally finish watching dachangjing le! watched 40 episodes of it these 3 days sia... 1 episode around 45 minutes so you guess how long i was camping in my room watching the dvds. still, great show!~

and that was how i spent my weekend, apart from going to the dragonboat training.

dragonboat is really getting more and more fun le! anyone in ny wanna join? register for it after the o2! just endure pass the first few training and i promise that it will be fun!

17 February

woah... today was like the day i stayed in sch for the longest stretch at one go sia... went home at 8.40? reached home at close to 10...

celebrated shun gui's birthday today during the common lunch break. ordered 6 large pizza! no idea how we managed to finish all that pizza sia...anyway, we got him to stay on the table while we sang the birthday song and made him eat a super spicy pizza. didn't know anyone can perspire so much from eating!

pe was floorball today. bleah... it's our class worst sport but at least we didn't lose any games, just draw for both. played volleyball for extended pe this time round and there's like so many volleyballers or ex-volleyballers in my ct la, all so pro de.

then i went to watch The One de concert, which is sorta a inter campus superstar thingy. many of the singers could sing really well! though got one whose band rocks but the singer...not very good la. samuel also performed two songs and a teacher also sang a song. i think the teacher was the best singer of the day! didn't know that there was a teacher who could sing that well...well worth the $1 ticket fee lol...

finally collected my specs too. glad to be rid of that stupid old specs... hopefully this time round the spec will last longer...

boo! being alone on valentine's day sucks, especially when just about everyone else has something to do. hopefully next year i wont be alone...

worse of all, i contracted this stupid flu that makes me wish that i don't have a nose. it's like so annoying la! why cannot on and off your nose like a tap??? please let me recover by tomorrow or i am gonna be so dead during db training...

oh yeah, i decided to stay in nyjc le! made up my mind on the bus this morning. kinda a weird time to make up your mind but who cares?

i am gonna become an ogl! provided that they dun see that i was from library and cancel me straight away lol...

13 Feburary

ct steamboat today. only about half the people turned up though. had pool and bowling before it. for some reason, my hand like cannot twist properly le so like half the bowling balls or more go into the drain. but on the bright side, the 13 pound ball is like alot lighter then the last time i went bowling.

then we went to have steamboat and crapped while eating. and then i became the chef! kept cooking and cooking but i ate quite alot though. still felt hungry at the end of it but i guess ppl dun eat steamboat till full de anyway.

arcade after that. played the hockey game and lost for both rounds lol...then played those... i dunno how to describe la, the three buttons then you keep hitting and got alot of different games that one. that one was better

argh, dunno what's with me recently. it's like i can't get into a good flow while blogging so it's like i am rambling all the way...

for the first time, the chingay parade came to hougang! best of all, there is a performance stage just opposite my house! went down to watch it at 7+. alan wu and a dj was the host. it started off with the choir ppl from st. margaret then a dance by them. not bad... then they played some lame games with the kids, attempting to delay time till the guest of honors (george yeo and eric low) arrived. they attempted to make the crowd cheer for them but failed miserably. it's hard to get a crowd to cheer all of a sudden de la. then the floats came, about 10 of them. not bad looking, but i would call them mobile advertising boards instead of floats though. advertisments were everywhere. i kinda pity the ppl on the floats though. they have to have a smile plastered on their face and keep waving at the crowds for god knows how long. kinda dull though, even considering the fact that i didn't watch the chingay parade even on tv so i have never seen any of them before. someone told me there were fireworks at the other areas. pity there wasn't any over here...

12 Feburary

just got back from the chalet. kinda mixed feeling about it actually. shall comment about it further when i reach there. long post ahead!

friday first.

results day! i didn't have to go school so i woke up at 10 liddat then watched da chang jing before going to school to collect my results. i was still pretty calm about it and didn't have much feeling about it. then when i reached school le someone told me that half my class got single digit and first thing i thought was "oh crap..." since my class only got 30 ppl and my class position for prelims was 17 and that was not including the 6 or so who was in special stream.

started to panic alittle le but then when we went up to the hall miss ng saw me and said i did very well and i felt relieved again.

after we sat down, jy was behind me and miss ng came around again and told jy he improved alot. then i asked her i improved more or jy improved more since we got the same for prelims then she said jy. started to freak out then as our class only 1 6 pointer then we two were unlikely to get 7 points either so my results can't be good.

LAN came in soon and announced that we did very well and showed us all the statistics. the most shocking thing was that we got 60% distinction for english because we only got like 30 odd % last year. they finally started to give back the results at close to 3.

when it was finally my turn to collect the results, miss ng told me i got 9. got the most neutral feeling mark again. i told myself that i would go crazy if i got 6 or 7, very very happy if i got 8, neutral if i got 9 and damn sad if i got anything more then a single digit. exactly the same way i felt when i got back the results for the chi o's. b3 is the most sian result to get cos i would have no feeling for it.

however, when i took a closer look at my results slip, i was a bit gong diao cos the way i got 9 wasn't what i expected at all. i expected that my 9 points break up would be:

English-B3
SS/Hist- A2
Geo-A1
Emaths- A1
Chem-A1
Physics-A1

but instead I got:
English A1
SS/Hist A1
Geo A1
Emaths A2
Chem A2
Physics A2

got a what the hell feeling. the subjects that i didn't study much for(ss/hist) and in the case of english didn't study at all, got A1 while stuff like chem and physics that i devoted like 90% of my studying time to got A2. like that means that got study or never study also not much difference lor...would have totally prefered to get the first option...

oh yeah, i got a b3 for amaths. didn't really care about that since i gave up on amaths since the start of sec 4 and didn't study for it anyway.

then i found out that miss ng miscounted and me and jy got the same score. what an emotional rollercoaster of a day...

went to have a little chat with some of my friends after getting the results before rushing home to get my stuff and go for the chalet.

as expected, the ppl who i was meeting to go buy the stuff for the bbq with was late so i waited for about 45 minutes? oh well, too used to it. brought the stuff for the bbq and went to the chalet. at this point in time, there were only 4 ppl there. soon, somemore came and there were 8 ppl( 4 guys 4 girls) in the chalet for the first night. loved the first night. we played alot of those observing games and since i already knew most of them, i had alot of fun while the others were totally blured. changed to card games after that then to chatting since some of the ppl were knocking out. and so we started chatting with 8 ppl but by 6am, there were only 4 ppl left chatting. really enjoyed the chats. there were so many moments when we were all laughing like crazy and also times when we were totally quiet when someone was recalling something sad...got to know everyone alot better after the chat.

in the morning, we went to eat toasts. i still think that there is something wrong with my stomach cos i wasn't even full after have 5 toasts which was 10 pieces of bread? problematic stomach that wont let me grow no matter how much i eat...

walked to white sands after that. was supposed to go to the arcade there but it has closed down so we walked around the mall a little before going abck to the chalet.

went to the x-square and played x box awhile before going to play pool. went we when back to the chalet, there were more ppl there le but not many more, only a total of 11 of us, much lesser then those that agreed to go when we were booking the chalet...

had our bbq then but it was kinda pathetic cos there were very little food and there were no chicken wings as we decided that it was too troublesome. still, it was quite a ok bbq.

problems started when it was around the time to go home. turns out that only me and another guy was staying for the second night and everyone else were going home.

wasn't exactly happy about that but i guess that everyone really cannot help it since there were other commitment and problems. we decided to rent some games to play in the chalet to pass the time but we didn't play much as i knocked out at 2+ and slept till morning before checking out.

quite enjoyed the chalet but would have loved it if more ppl stayed for the second night...

oh well, now to decide if i should go to nyjc or nyp!

9 February

i think i am starting to like my ct more and more le! cool sia... we had pe today and played captain's ball. first ct we played against we won 15-1! then lessons ended and our ct were still feeling engergetic so we stayed back and joined the next class for pe. this time it's 10-2. pe ended again and we still dun wanna go home then we played badminton! lol...played till we got chased out of the hall for the volleyball's team pratice then the few of us we still didn't want to go home went to the canteen to chat till like 6.30. didn't know i could get along with the ppl in my ct that well...too bad i am gonna change subject combi and there's next to no change that we will be in the same ct... oh well, chalet's tomorrow! and results too!

crap... i broke my specs today...no idea how it happened either... i picked it up and it just...broke... so new somemore lor... just a couple of months nia...

it resisted all my attempts to superglue it so i had no choice but to go to a spectacle shop to get it repaired... $50 down the drain... only can collect it next tuesday so i have no choice but to wear back that old pair of specs...

I never knew that having a time table that dismiss you at 2.15 everyday except for thursday could have anything bad about it.

there is no freaking thing to do after school!!! gah, i can't get used to the idea of going home when the sun is still up in the sky... so sian lor... go home also nothing to do.

uhoh... i think i got hooked onto da chang jing le... lol... i know i abit lag la... watching it now when everyone has watched it ages ago...i didn't do anything but watch the dvds these few days... and it's damn long!! 5 episodes per dvd and there is 16 dvds leh... 80 episodes o.O''... oh well, it's really nice to watch and i got nothing better to do anyway. so off i go to continue watching!

dragonboat training again today. was pretty relaxed this time round. we even got off at the beach and praticed rowing while we were standing in the water a little. oh yeah, the shallows of the water there could be a rubbish dump if it weren't covered by water. it's like you aren't even walking on the sand every few steps. no idea what's in the water but it could seriously do with some cleaning up. why do ppl enjoy throwing stuff into the water?

went to eat some prata with the dragonboat ppl after that at a prata shop near kallang mrt. pretty nice. the pratas there are huge! had some trouble just finishing 3 of the pratas and you all know my appeitete...

oh yeah, went to watch dick and jane with my ct yesterday. actually wanted to watch i not stupid too or fearless de but then majority wins and the girls are still the majority in my ct...

and so we watched dick and jane. let's just say that if you are feeling very rich and have watched all the other movies there is, watch it. otherwise, don't. not much point in the story, just some cheap laughs nia... i supposed that the director could have wanted to show the plight of the jobless or the problem of kids being closer to their maid then their parents but then it totally doesn't show in the movie, which just makes you feel like you could have spent the time and money better elsewhere.

i wanna watch i not stupid too and fearless!

wohoo! my og is organising a chalet for next weekend! fast sia... but got some ct also having chalet next mon to wed, right after they get back results. shuang!

oh yeah, had db training yesterday. it was sorta a napfa test but then with mostly different stations like push ups, log lift, leg lifts, bicep curls and such. i greatly prefer it to last week's one lol...

can't wait to get back results and then go for the chalet!
