Birthdays?

I hate it.

for me, it's just a day that makes me feel pathetic.

because, unlike most ppl's birthdays, my one is not a happy and jolly affair but is instead a day where i am sianed out of my mind.

this is the second year running where i am spending my birthday all alone at home doing nothing but rotting.

"hmm? your family don't celebrate your birthday with you meh?"

nope. i don't think my family has celebrated my birthday since i was like 5 and i only remember that cos i saw a photo of a young me when i was still cute with a birthday cake. can't remember any other occasions that my family celebrated my birthday liao.

at least last year i still could use prelims being 2 days from my birthday as an excuse to console myself but kinda hard to find a reason this year unless i wanna use everyone studying like mad for the promos in 1 month+ time.

infact, the only time i remembered my birthday was celebrated was in sec 3 and that was cos i was desperate enough to want someone to celebrate my birthday with me to treat half the class to kfc cos i didn't think it would be celebrated otherwise.

pathetic la. that's the only word for it.

i simply hate my birthdays. and worse of all is when i see msg that tells me to enjoy my day cos it's like the top 3 worst day of the year for me every year.

birthdays? PUI!

however, with that being said, i still gotta thank those people who still actually remembered it and wished me a happy birthday.
