Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

haha... been very lazy to blog recently...i think i shall just blog about the more interesting stuff that happened this few days.

friday was the cross-country cum cny celebration. very the slack lor... combining two events into one... it seems to be a favourite of ny or something... they are gonna combine the o2 with the j1 level camp...

the cross country was easy... mainly because i walked, or should i say strolled for like half of it? only started jogging around halfway through when i got bored of walking...

there was a little performance afterwards followed by the prize presentations. dragonboat got team champion for the guys! and second for the girls i think.

the xms ppl went back to xms after that to visit the teachers but we only managed to chat with them for a while... seems like they are pretty busy... turns out to be more like a chatting of the graduated students as we sat there and chat about our various jc. nj canoe team is a little kuazhang... they only can eat from two stalls in the sch canteen lor! imagine eating the same food for two years....

then we went to play pool at hougang plaza. played for quite a while... till we forgot the time and had to take a taxi down to amk to make it on time for the bbq. however, because quite alot of ppl were late, we only went in at like 5.30 when we were supposed to be there at 5. and damn seoul garden is ex... $23 per person leh. oh well, at least i had a nice chat with everyone. played alot of those observing games too. sometimes really funny to see the reaction of the ppl who can't guess them.

guess what we did after dinner?

yep. pool again... lol... cos really nothing else that we can do le... not like we can go clubbing or stuff liddat... i improved! or maybe i just slowed down and decided to aim instead of just slamming the ball... reach home at 12+?

that usually wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that i had to wake up early today for dragonboat. pressed snooze 3 times before i managed to drag myself out of bed...

the training today was quite ok, compared to the land training anyway. although my left hand cramped up because it didn't move for ages and i still can't coordinate when i am on the left side so i am on the right side most of the time and it's a little unbalanced. pacers gonna work like crazy lor... gotta shout the timing and row at the same time. hopefully the next land training will be in the gym but judging by the still rather large group, i doubt it...

gonna go hong bao collecting later! as well as playing cards to "pass the time". wish me luck!
