oh my god... i think i am gonna wake up half dead tomorrow...
how you ask?
first of all, we had pe in the morning, which was 10 rounds round the track. surprisingly, it wasn't that bad and i could complete it without too much trouble... i think all the running the last couple of weeks is finally starting to pay off. then we went to take height and weight. yeah!!! i am finally 1.7m le! now finally can honestly say that i am 17x instead of 16x le. thank god i am still growing... i am too damn short le. my weight was horrible though. only 51kg... i really, REALLY gonna gain some weight le... but then no matter how much i pig out, i dun seem to gain any weight... this would be so good for a girl but then i am a guy so it sucks.
let's get to the main reason why i am gonna wake up half dead tomorrow.
dragonboat training.
it was sick lor!!!! first of all, they made us run 6 rounds on the outermost lane which is about 7 rounds of the normal? and that's just a warm up. then we did some warm-ups, which consist of god knows how many of the stupid squatter jump or something thingy which is something like star jump except there's 5 parts. 3 minutes break given here then we went back and were told that we didn't do the jump properly so gonna do again. ok la, i admit i didn't do it properly cos i can't seem to coordinate my arms and legs so it was either my legs moving or arms moving when they are both supposed to be in sync. and so we did the jumps. and we did god knows how many set lor. they cannot hear us shouting means we restart. and restart. and restart. by the end of it most ppl were half dead le lor...they were nice enough to give like a 30 seconds break before it was stationary excerise time. which consist of sets of push-ups, followed by crunches, followed by torso and leg lift. 20 per set and no breaks. at all. we were given 3 secs to get into position for the next set so you could see ppl like flopping around trying to get into position. same case here, some of the time they cannot hear us count means add 10 more. in the end we did 140 push-ups, 100 crunches and 80 of the lift. all continueously. really can die lor... the worse was the stupid push-ups. had to hold in position for so long that the arms are dying liao lor.
sick...
however, with all that being said, i am still gonna stay in dragonboat! the j2's are really encouraging, with the j2 girls actually doing the guy's push up instead of the girl's one. plus, it's like a personal challenge la. join liao cannot take it and quit is like very loser liddat. what's more, it will only get easier and easier as our body gets used to it so if i stay in ny after getting the results, it will become like no kick soon lor. heck, liddat napfa will be a total walk over lor. maybe standing broad jump will be the only one which still have some problems ba...
