21 January

Wohoo! Memoirs of a geisha rocks!

woke up at 9 this morning and it was way too early so i went back to sleep, only to wake up again at 11 and had to rush like mad to get to ps by 12. ended up being 4 minutes late though.

bleah... i dun like being late...

anyway, we wanted to watch the 1.50 show de but tim(one of our ogl) couldn't make it by that time so we decided to watch the 3.25 de show. kinda surprising la, we were buying the tickets like 3 hr early and we still had to sit on the 3rd row from the front... somemore got to split into 3 and 4 on different rows...thankfully, it wasn't like the godzilla view i once had to endure at... i forgot where le...

so anyway, since we had like 3 hrs to spend, the girls decided to shop. i am kinda used to it and besides, i quite like shopping but i think it was a first for the other guys so they were like very sian and bored out of their mind. meanwhile i brought a belt and a long sleeve shirt cos my pants were pratically dropping... shld have tried it on properly when i brought it last week...

so we walked around till the movie was about to start before we met up with tim and went into the cinema. the sitting arrangement abit sad la, the girls were together behind while the girls were together in front... a little sian diao...

let's go back to the movie.

it was great! kinda hard to give a review la cos abit complicated but it was about chiyo(zhang ziyi) growing up and becoming the most famous geisha ... forgot what's the name of the place le. mastumomo(gong li) was playing the evil character and michelle yeo was playing the good one. there were some pretty funny parts, particularly the part about the eel and the cave. pretty touching too, come to think of it.

after the movie, the girls went home and wei chong also went home. me, jun an and tim felt it was too early so we went to play xbox at x-square. pretty cheap, $3 per hour and can have a max of 3 person so it's like a dollar an hour. played halo2 a little but only can play against each other and we were all new so it wasn't much fun. changed it to spikeout and completed the game! took around 2 hrs though, including the halo2 so we went home after the game. would have like to try out more though...

dragonboat training tmr! wonder how it will go...

oh yeah, i just noticed. i've been going out everyday of the weekend! woah...and to think that i only managed to get out like once a month or less on weekends during sec sch... i have changed quite abit haven i?
