Ok...someone slap me for saying that getting a job gets rid of your boredom. i am almost equally bored at work but hey, at least i am getting paid for it...

went to work today and it didn't start off very well.

for a start, when i got there, it turns out that there was another person there for the same job!

dunno why got this confusion but anyway the boss said that only one person can stay and ask the other promoter to choose.

so we both worked and luckily, the other promoter chose me cos i was obedient while the other guy keep ding zhui-ing so i get to keep the job.

here i gotta admit something that sarah said last year was true. ang mohs indeed make better customers. for a start, they are way, WAY more polite then many singaporeans who prefers to ignore you. got one who was looking for a yellow hummer desperately which we dun happen to stock then i helped her to find out and she actually said god bless you lor. how many singaporeans would actually say that? though i met a weird one who asked me how much it would cost to send the remote helicopter to spain but he was still polite...

oh yeah. there was also this weird guy who stood at the tv games there and played tetris for 3 hrs!!! crazy...

haven met any terrible customers yet (and i dun hope to meet any) except for one who totally ignored me so it was still quite a ok day at work except for the fact that my legs are killing me after standing for close to ten hours straight and that it is a little boring... i think i started to look at the time every few minutes after 7. the 9 o'clock time never looked so good. though it would look less good tmr as i would only be dismissed at 10 on the weekends...

oh yeah. i forgot to mention something. my co-promoters are pretty nice people! actually cannot take weekends off de meaning i would miss the chalet completely but the promoter who quit and i am replacing agreed to stand in for me next sat and sun! though he is still considering about helping me on fri but at least now i can enjoy most of the chalet! though i think i would be a walking zombie when i go back to work on mon...
