wohoo! the treetop walk today rocks! i love nature!
ok la... that place not that natural...human constructions everywhere... but hey, it's about as close to nature as you are going to get in singapore unless you wanna go to so ulu island...
just staring at the blue(black) sky and and cool( hot and then later wet) weather is so nice...
it was blazing hot when we first started and freezing cold near the end. really experienced the different faces of mother nature today.
i would say the walk is quite enjoyable la, if only everyone walked at similar speed. some people walk fast and some people walk very slowly so we were very seperated and those in the front had to keep stopping to wait for those behind.
just when the heat was starting to get a little unbearable, it poured. oh well, at least it cooled us down. and the view in the rain was great too! *digging for every good thing i can think of*
around halfway through the trek, we climbed up this tower where there was a really magnificent view! how often do you actually see mist in singapore?
wildlife was in hiding though. didn't managed to see much animals. maybe they are smarter then us and are sheltering from the rain. saw a squrriel and some monkeys at the place where we stopped to eat though.
god, i want a digicam! so many places that had great view and i could only take photos with my crappy handphone cam.
now... what did i forget... oh yeah. the treetop walk. the view was nice there but for some reason, the trees under the bridge were mostly cleared so it wasn't exactly a "treetop" walk. more like a beside the tree top walk. it was also kinda short too.
oh yeah again. we were waiting for the others to catch up somewhere near a golf course with a shelter and there were about half a dozen "too-much-money-dunno-how-to-use-can-afford-to-play-golf-during-the-weekday" type of uncles there. ok la, they were nice....but abit... dunno how to say la. didn't like them very much. for one, they say something like " how can a teacher let students be outside when there is lightning" hello... where you want us to go... that place really is jin tui lian nan lor...and then they talk to us like we dunno those stuff they were saying liddat...abit bth. the lightning and thunder is so far apart lor... they dunno can guage how far the lightning is by comparing the difference between the time you see the lightning and hear the thunder de meh... i think it is 1 sec 1km or something and they were plenty far away from where i am seeing... so we ended up stuck in the shelter for more then 30 minutes. and left when the rain is pouring. zzz...
and another thing, hsbc is damn rich leh. those boardwalks must have costed a bomb. there were dunno how many km of it lor...
however, overall, it was still a great trip! ranked in the top 5 fun class outing ba. although... anyone else feet and neck itching?
oh yeah... for some reason, although it was longer, it was much less tiring then the shopping trip. the girls think otherwise though.
p.s: sorry for the above post. i know the structure is horrible. but i am now feeling very sleepy and my memory is coming to me in lapses so i am just blogging what i can think of. so very luan. sorry ah...
