15 September

physics prat today. nothing much to comment abt it except that we had to draw a werid graph which we had never drew before.

anyway, after the prat, we went to the coffee shop as usual. for once, i wasn't the only one being suan as hk was also there and he was suaned abt gt till very cham... after eating we chatted about some stuff.

well, we talked about the chalet a little and what we are going to do there. the others were saying that there was nothing to do and that it would be boring but me being me said that it would turn out alright and i got shot for that.

well, that's the way i am what... everyone is different and i guess for me, i think that everything would turn out alright in the end and i tend not to worry about stuff. it has worked for me most of the time and i am happy so i am not going to change my way of thinking anytime soon.

they also comment about how i spend my time and how unproductive, boring and no life it was. well, i don't find anything wrong with it. i mean, there are people who hates being at home and there are also people who hates going out. being at home is ok for me so i don't really find it no life.

so what if you are out all the time? aren't you also doing the same few things over and over again? is that what you mean by having a lot of life? well, sorry if it is not for me.

let's say you are born in some country like the us where you have a choice of living in the city or the countryside. which would you choose? i would choose the countryside without a second thought. some people may think that that kind of lifestyle is boring but there are plenty of people who are happy living that way.

i am someone who enjoys having the company of others but i also don't mind being alone. great if i have someone to do stuff with but i am also contend with just sitting somewhere quiet looking at the sky or the sea. living a simple, peaceful life is not bad, don't you think?

at the end of the day, isn't being happy the most important thing? as long as you are happy doing what you are doing, it's perfectly alright. don't care about what others say about you and don't try to change to suit what others think is right. you will only be making yourself unhappy in the process as you are not doing what you want to do and are instead doing what others want you to do.

i think all of us are guilty of that at some point or the other. we would try to change ourselves to what others think is right. but do you recall being happy when you do that? no? well, that's what i thought...

so just be yourself! nothing beats being happy and when you are cheerful, good things will come your way naturally. smile! =)
