Ice skating

Went for ice-skating today. As usual, everyone was late but me. I really should adjust and start going to outings later instead of being so punctual. let me see... in order of arrival. rs,wy, bh, hj, kobe. we took the train to jurong east. ok la, the journey was much shorter than the last time i been there, which was in pri sch when i had to take the bus which was a 1hr+ journey. had kfc there first and met sarah before going to the ice rink. the kfc there hor, portions are way smaller than normal de and everyone was complaining. the ice rink was much less colder than i expected, nvr wear jacket also dun feel cold at all. let me see the total cost... entry: $8.40( 2 hrs) ice skates: $2.10. gloves:$2. which brings it up to a grand total of $12.50. not that bad i guess. i think my skates was rigged by someone who doesn't want me to skate well cos wear le cannot stand straight and very pain. haha... just like the male ego to find any excuse for something wrong other than the fault with themself. ice-skating is definately harder than roller-blading but somehow, it seems that you fall more while roller-blading if i compare those who was learning today to those that were trying to roller-blade. maybe guys are just faster learners. opps... i am gonna get murdered for that statment. i think it is mainly because they are not so afraid of falling la. i think i slipped a total of 6 times? 3 times pushed by heng, 1 time by rs and 2 times because of myself. worse of all, hj and sarah skates better than me. oh well, they have been there before and it is a first for me so cannot blame. after skating, i had problems walking because every part of my feet was aching but it was't that bad la, nice experience. anyone who have never try it before should! oh yeah, for some reason, there was quite a number of little caucasians(sp?) girls there.really young too, abt 5 or 6? haha... those caucasians parents are a lot funner than singapore ones, who sent their children for tuitions, ballet, piano and those kinds of standard stuff... boring.
after ice-skating, we went to the food fest at suntec. recommanded by heng but poor recommandation though. the food fest was really nothing special, nothing that really caught my eye anyway. seems like a battle between taiwan food, jap food and ba gua. for some reason, shark fin was everywhere. it seems that for every couple of stalls, you will find some shark fin. didn't really have much to eat even though i was surrounded by food. guess i am really picky abt my food ba. oh yeah, there were some funny stalls there too. there was one stall selling instant noodles (poka) emm... hello? who the hell would want to eat cup noodles at a food fest??? and then there was this stall that had this huge words on the top of the stall " Free Sample". i think they were banking on singaporeans love for free sample but then when you get there, you find out it is just some kinda coffee -_-''... left there at 9+? and reach home at 10+. oh yeah, sentosa tomorrow. dunno what i am going to do there but rot in the water. still, no point not going as the other alternative is for me to rot at home.
another oh yeah. there was a funny incident on the mrt to suntec. kobe was saying that he didn't want to go to sentosa because the organiser didn't personally invite him so i smsed deb and then she then sent a formal invitation to kobe, following which kobe tried to be funny and replied dun wanna go. then she replied ok. i think she didn't relise that kobe was beside me because she sms me and told me that kobe didn't want to go. told her i will persuade him and she say he dunwangodunwango lor. kobe saw the sms and was like -_-... haha... kobe didn't really mind but he was trying to act cute and pretended he was hurt by it. haha... still wanna laugh when i think of it.
